Every 2,150 years approximately we have a new Astrological Age. The much-anticipated Age of Aquarius begins when the March equinox point moves out of the constellation Pisces and into the constellation Aquarius. However, there’s no firm consensus among astrologers as to when the Age of Aquarius will begin (or has already begun!). Most claim that the Age of Aquarius arrived during the 20th century, while others claim it is happening now - January 2020. One thing we do know, however, is that it takes around 200-300 years to gradually transition from one age to another. And we have just completed that eclipsing transition from the Age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarius. So the two ages have been overlapping. We can already witness the Aquarian influences. Technological advancements, science, and the internet are the trademarks of Aquarius – and they are all already here.
The Age of Aquarius's ultimate goal is individual freedom, humanitarianism, and liberation. As of January 2020, we have completely moved out of the Age of Pisces. The Age of Pisces spanned from approximately 0 to 2000. After 2000+ years of wars and military development in the Age of Aries (ruled by Mars, the planet of war and aggression), a different approach came. As the Age of Pisces emerged, humanity came to the understanding that ego development (from the Age of Aries) was not enough; and that the ego must be channeled through something greater than the individual. The Age of Pisces introduced the concepts of surrender, compassion, kindness, charity, empathy, and self-sacrifice. The warrior-hero ideal of the Aries age evolved into the transcendent ideal of the saint. The Age of Pisces has been the age of great world religions: Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. It was in this age the Jesus character emerged as a key figure.
As we have now shifted from the Age of Pisces into the Age of Aquarius, we will learn that each individual is important – not as an amorphous mass easy to maneuver (Age of Pisces) or from the ego, as it was in the Age of Leo. The approach to the individual in the Age of Aquarius comes from the approach that this is the Age of Reason and Science. Since the constellation of Aquarius started approaching the Vernal Equinox for the past 200 years, we became an industrialized, mechanized and now highly technological civilization! Since Aquarius rules science, we now have the individuals alone on their computers and cell phones. The higher octave of Aquarius is science which is liberating for humanity. This gives us freedom to develop our true individuality and talents and means we will no longer, eventually, need to be toiling away for our survival here.
The lower octave of the sign of Aquarius is science used destructively i.e., atomic bomb, pollution, etc. and even worse: mechanical thinking. Humans as machines is very Aquarian, everything is a natural coincidence, mind disconnected from heart, etc. Also totalitarian dictatorships, fascism, communism, corporationalism, etc., are ruled by the Age of Aquarius. But thankfully the further we progress into the Age of Aquarius the more its higher manifestation will come into being--discovering sustainable free energy, working with and for nature, science and math proving the spiritual nature of reality and the higher dimension and helping raise the vibration of human consciousness so we can connect directly through telepathy, meditation and more (Aquarius rules consciousness, telepathy and clairvoyance), and of course brotherhood, freedom, justice and equality.
By the end of the age of Aquarius, most humans will have developed a direct connection and interaction with the "Central Intelligence" of the universe and we will finally understand the mystery of the cosmos. We will be Citizens of the Galaxy not just earth. Sounds futuristic, yes? It should, it is the Age of Aquarius.
In the Age of Aquarius, the individual discovers their true power, choosing their reality based on what aligns with their soul and how we are all connected to the collective.
— Dawn, Astrologer
Aquarius is the most global sign of all since it rules interconnected networks and friendships based on mutual vision. Aquarius rules the Cosmic Mind and connectedness to It. Family blood connections will not be as important as an understanding of how we are all connected with every aspect of each other and nature. We are all brothers and sisters in spirit and our goals are the same individually and collectively. Globally, countries will lend a helping hand to others rather than prey on them. Social justice and equality, and free access to resources will be available for everyone. "Divide and rule" will no longer be applied--it just will not work, as people will be seeing through it more and more.
This new age focuses on humanitarian pursuits of valuing each person's individuality, holding and taking care of each other as a unit, and disrupting the status quo. For over 12,000 years the power has rested in traditional, oppressive hierarchical structures, and their beliefs dictated our reality. This ends in the Age of Aquarius.
The internet is one of the most powerful tools of the Age of Aquarius and it is helping us spread truth and awareness about the state of humans and how we are being misled by some rulers trying to divide and rule us, but we will realize we are all the same-with the same fears, hopes, trepidations in the heart - yes, even those in the military industrial complex. Soon, wars will become extinct, but not until we have one more heinous war.
Aquarius is the sign of the Water Bearer. The ruling planet of the Aquarius sign is represented by the planet Uranus and the element air (not water, as is often mistaken because it is the sign of the Water Bearer). It is known as the 11th sign of the zodiac, and the Water Bearer, symbolizes the Gods bringing nourishment to Earth.
Aquarius is known for being:
Aries individuals may find that their natural leadership qualities and independent nature are well-suited to this age.
Taureans can look forward to a dynamic blend of stability and change that will shape their experiences and growth.

The approach to the individual in the Age of Aquarius comes from the approach that this is the Age of Reason and Science.
